 Oaklands is the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral's Outdoor Education Centre situated in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, UK.

Oaklands is fully equipped for Rock Climbing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Gorge Walking, Mountain Walking, Camping, Abseiling, Sea Level Traversing, Mine Exploration, Orienteering, Problem Solving, Raft Building and Field Studies. With highly skilled and qualified staff, and an exceptional safety record, Oaklands can provide tailor made Outdoor Education courses of an exceptional standard in the great outdoors. Originally a Victorian country house Oaklands has been fully refurbished to provide all the amenities expected of a modern Outdoor Education Centre, whilst retaining its great character. Click here to see the renovations.

The Centre is set up to run with up to 3 residential groups within our 44 bed Centre. Traditional dormitories are available for students with en-suite rooms available for staff. We also have a new fully accessible accommodation block, with 3 en-suite dorms. Click here to book.

We also have secured changing facilities, with showers and toilets, independent of the house, for groups wishing to come along for the day. Click here to book.
