Sacred Heart Primary Group One (22-24 June 2009)

Going gorge walking in the rocky mountains and jumping into the deep bit of the gorge.

Trying to use the rope down the steep rocks and getting your grip with your feet on the slippy rocks.

I learnt to have trust in others.

That to use all the help you can get.

It doesn’t matter if it is man made it still can be fun.

The best bits of the course were climbing up as it made it all the more easier if you did your best .

The most challenging bits were abseiling down the cliff edge, as you didn’t know when they were going to slowly loosen the rope .

I learnt that if you are a bit nervous at first then you can overcome that and achieve it.

I learnt that if you all work together as one team then it will all work out

That some of the nature such as trees had been there for about 150 years .

The best bit was probly sliding down the monstorous waterfall, and tripping over by accident! Also, looking back at the things I have done and feeling proud.

The most challenging bits were climbing through the Elephants Bottom and getting stuck!

I learnt that even though I was the youngest one on the course today, I can still achieve anything.

I learnt eveyones weaknesses, and strong points and how they work together in a team and didn’t give up, just tried their best with evertything.

I learnt that somthing does not have to be manmade for it to be beautiful. It can still, also, be as adventurous and exiting then any theme park made.

I think that gorge walking was the best because it’s challenging but fun when you climb up the rocks (with water running fast). Also canoeing but not the best.

One of the most challenging bits was when we had to row the canoe it was aching your arms. Second, the gorge when you have to climb up the slippy rocks,

I learned that I could be brave and I learned that I could do things that I had never tried befor.

I learnt that some people aren’t as able as others to do some of the activities.

I learnt that the enviroment should be kept clean and  free from rubbish so other people can enjoy it.
