Best bits of your course

Our favourite part of the course was swimming in the lake (when the weather was bad!).

Most challenging bits…

The most challenging task was to get in to the coffin which was a narrow space and a 10ft drop.

What did you learn about yourself?

We learnt that if we keep calm and keep our minds focused we can do anything.

What did you learn about others (your team mates)

We learnt that the others were by our side helping us!

We learnt that the environment can be dangerous as well.

Best bits of your course

Going on a zip wire in an underground mine; walking up an underground stream and waterfall.

Most challenging bits…

Alex – walking up the steep hill.

Steven - walking up the steep hill.

Ben – walking up the river in the mine.

So most of the people thought that climbing the river was the hardest.

What did you learn about yourself?

People learnt that they could overcome their fears and push themselves to the limit.

What did you learn about others (your team mates)

People overcame their fears and our team mates are very supportive.

What did you learn about the environment?

We learnt that slate was used for everything – houses, hospitals and cabans (underground homes).

Blue Group

Best bits of your course

Callum – Today I enjoyed doing canoeing for the first time. I also enjoyed the climbing because it was fun and challenging

Jonathan – Today I liked doing rock climbing and absailing and thought canoeing was funny.

Most challenging bits…

Hannah – Going down the rock was most challenging while rock climbing.

Coral – Probably going down the rock climbing and going canoeing.

What did you learn about yourself?

Mike – That I can do lots of things and you have got to believe in yourself.

Jess – I learnt lots of new things.

Callum – That I could do canoeing and improved my rock climbing

What did you learn about others (your team mates)

Sam – I learnt that lots of other people learnt new things and had fun like me. I also got a few better relationships.

What did you learn about the environment?

Callum – nice lake.

Jess – All the mountains and rivers and animals.

Tom – Great environment. Waterfalls were best.
