Best bits of your course

The best bits of our course was gorge walking and rock climbing because the gorge walking was really fun ,we all enjoyed slipping over and splashing people. The rock climbing was fun because it gave us all lots of funny challenges.

Most challenging bits…

The most challenging part was the canoeing because we had to canoe a long way.

What did you learn about yourself?

We learnt to trust in other people and that there is no I in team.

What did you learn about others (your team mates)

To trust in them and not to fall out with your mates.

What did you learn about the environment?

We learnt not to litter the ground and not to waste your food.

Green Group

You’re Group:

They’re very hard working and determined. They are helpful and brave and they’re always there for you if your stuck or scared.

Best bits of your course

The best bit of the course was gorge walking up the stream. We got to go up an elephant’s bottom!!(rocks) At the end of the day we got to jump in a very deep pool.

Most challenging bits…

The most challenging part was rock climbing the rocky face. Even though your team cheers you on its still very hard to pluck up the courage to climb.

What did you learn about yourself?

That I’m stronger and braver than I thought I was and when I face my fears I try to  overcome them.

What did you learn about others (your team mates)

That when your stuck they try to help you as much as possible and they spot places for you to put your feet and hands if you are rock climbing or gorge walking.

What did you learn about the environment?

That if you throw your litter on the floor instead of putting it in the bin we wont have things that we have now in a couple of years.

Red Group

You’re Group:

Our group are quite brave (When they want to be). They are also very prepard to push themselves to the extreme and noisy most of the time but when we get down to work.

 Best bits of your course

The best bit was when we went canoeing and had a massive water fight in the middle of the lake.

 Most challenging bits…

I think the most challenging parts were the rock climbing and the gorge walking. The rock climbing was difficult especially absaling down.the gorge walking was also difficult but my team helped me.

What did you learn about yourself?

That I wasn’t afraid of rock climbing or gorge walking. And when I’m very hard working if I put my mind to it.

What did you learn about others (your team mates)

I never thought my team mates had done the activities we did here before and were more determind than I thought.

What did you learn about the environment?

That slate came from a cross the river that we did canoeing on.And that fisherman didn’t like the kayakers because they thought they would scare away the fish.
